If you know me, you know that I scare easily. Rumor has it that the office is haunted. I've yet to find out details because the less I know the better off I am. Today I was talking to some co-workers in their office. I knew one of them watched Breaking Bad and I began discussing the series finale. My back was to the door as I'm talking. Out of no where I hear a chainsaw. I released a high pitch scream and turned around to see a chainsaw coming at me with blood on it. I screamed some more. The guys couldn't escape as I was blocking them. When I finally calmed down enough I noticed the chainsaw was in fact a toy with a moving plastic chain and fake blood on it. The person holding it...the president of the company. Apparently he's quite the practical joker.
Later in the morning I was sitting at my desk working on some orders. All of the sudden the tag on my tea bag in my flipped. The cup was not near me, I didn't have any papers near it, nor was my pen near it.
That afternoon I was in the file room with Sue discussing a file. Out of no where I hear this odd noise that wasn't normal. My face turned white with fear. I turned to Sue and asked her if she heard it. She began laughing and I began backing up to the other side of the aisle. I was petrified and felt she didn't believe me. She kept laughing which made me laugh but I was still on edge with fear. We finally gained our composure and were able to continue discussing the file. Then I hear a faint whisper "Did you hear me?" I screamed pounded the file cabinet and said "Alright tell me you heard that?" I'm getting out of here! She began to laugh some more. As I'm exiting the room she finally gets out that it's one of Mark's toys. He has a sound / voice box the size of a quarter that he had placed on the back of the file cabinet. I was relieved that this was a prank and not a ghost. Apparently this is not the end of the shenanigans.
