salvation

I just completed the book Trial by Fire by Terri Blackstock. (Great Book!!!!!) I liked how she defined some things. Such as: 1 Cor. 6 "Don you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulteres nor effeminate nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor the drunkards nor slandereers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdome of God. That is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of God."
She uses another analogy in the story. Refering to sin. As the Bible says "the wages of sin is death" We're all sinners yet Jesus has paid the price for it. Only you have to accept him as your Savior. She refers to it as the sinner being on death row "There's someone waiting to take your place. Your pardon is waiting. Until you take it you're in bondage...You think you're free but you're not." I have never heard of salvation explained like that. Jesus is waiting to give us a pardon for our sins if we only ask for forgiveness and believe that he is our Savior.
