Patience

This week the topic of the Bible study is Patience. On day 1 Beth analyzes Job and what all he went through. How he had patience and persevered in his faith in God. She brought up the fact that “Gold is not finished until it reaches a point of perfect luster. The chief objective of the refiner is to bring the gold to a point of greatest reflection. The gold is not as costly for its own sake as it is for the sake of that which it reflects. It is the light which exposes its qualities.” We are the gold and God is the refiner. We can not shine without having to go through some trials. It is here we learn patience and once God is through he is the light that shines through us.
